What Is Hydrotherapy?

hydrotherapyHydrotherapy is a water based treatment and exercise program supervised by a physiotherapist. The heated pool (32°C) encourages stiff muscles and joints to relax, whilst the buoyancy of the water takes the load off the weight-bearing joints allowing them to be exercised painlessly.

Conditions Suitable For Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It is ideal for a range of conditions and illnesses including; back pain, arthritis, sporting injuries, post stroke, neurological disorders, muscle weakness, decreased mobility, cardiac conditions, joint replacements and many more.
